Long Beach Marriott Enrolls in MeetingInternet Program
The Long Beach Marriott, a current InnFlux high speed Internet access (HSIA) customer, has become the newest client of Tantus Networks' MeetingInternetTM program.
The Marriott previously was charging Meeting Space users, but had no way to enforce that users paid the Meeting access fees because the network was ''wide open'', requiring no authentication.
After implementing the MeetingInternet system from Tantus Networks, the Marriott now has complete and full control over its meeting space Internet access, allowing for:
-Voucher-style access for single users
-Single voucher access for group use
-Control over networking between meeting space users
-Customized wireless SSIDs and Login pages for premium clients
-Control SMTP relay for the group
-Bandwidth (speed) control and upsell
-Printing of instructions for meeting access users
-Printing of instructions and invoices for meeting group coordinators
Per the terms of the agreement, the Marriott paid no upfront fees and no recurring support fees. MeetingInternet fees are imposed only on a per-use basis.
