February 12, 2006
InnFlux continues its strategic growth in the hotel technology and Internet access market through the acquisition of hotel HSIA contracts from Chicago's ByteLynk.
Chicago, IL (PRWeb) February 12, 2007 -- Tantus Networks, of Chicago, Illinois, announced today that they have successfully acquired and have integrated the hotel HSIA (High Speed Internet Access) contracts of ByteLynk, also of Chicago. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it was a mutually beneficial transaction for both companies. "The ByteLynk team is pursuing other opportunities at this time," commented Roy Sharda, President of ByteLynk, "our main concern was finding a solid, reputable, and reliable company to support our clients as well as we had. That company, Tantus, happened to be in our own backyard. It was a win-win for everyone involved."
Tantus Networks' CEO, David Wieland, was also satisfied with the transaction. "The folks over at ByteLynk really know how to build and operate good hotel guest HSIA networks and had a solid support structure. It was no surprise that their networks integrated into our InnFlux HSIA system so well." Commenting on its overall strategy, Mr. Wieland notes, "The acquisition of these service contracts fits into our overall strategy of growth from both organic means and also through acquisition. Because our service is the premier HSIA service in the country, new clients are always pleased with these transactions."
